Spring has arrived!

I remember something similar to this last spring. I don't know how but Kramer always manages to find the only mudhole in the desert. We thought we were just by a spring but he somehow found a hole that went waist high! Silly dog ;)



After I got back from Vegas it was apparent my boy missed me real bad. He didn't leave my side for 2 days!!

I was in Vegas yesterday and missed our Kramer's big 6th birthday so.....Happy Birthday Kramer!!

Gooseberry All through the Seasons

It has been decided! I will attempt making every recipe in Gooseberry All Through The Seasons!

I chose this book over my others for the following reasons:

*Gooseberry recipes seem to be a little easier and more realistic to what Cory and I eat. We don't eat duck (Julie & Julia)
** This cookbook and the Christmas one (alot like this book) are my FAVORITES!!!
***I can read and understand these recipes! Plus, I know what the ingredients are. Don't you hate reading a recipe and having no clue what the ingredients are or have a clue where to get them.

Have you seen Julie & Julia? I loved it and I loved the whole idea behind it? Cook a whole entire cookbook and blog about it? I love it!



I loved it so much that I decided I want to cook a whole cookbook of recipes! Will I blog about it all? No, definitely not. Maybe bring it up? Possibly! We will see!!
When I told Cory he had about the saddest look on his face, he definitely is not as excited about this is I am but he said he will be my supporter and taste tester :) I will let you know when I decide what cookbook I choose, however I can guarantee it won't be a cookbook about mastering the art of french cooking!!

She is pretty awesome and I love her music! I love working out to her and I even have Cory hooked on Tic Tok! I know some are not a fan of her but Check her out and see what you think!!

working it!

Yesterday I went running except my running partner was not another friend it was Kramer. And instead of looking like the picture above, I looked like I was getting dragged down the street by a 83 pound creature...which I was. I guess it didn't go to bad but I am definitely not used to running with Kramer. He would sense I was running and he would go full throttle. After he got tired from the heat it wasn't to bad...then we were in sync' :) Is running my thing? I don't think so but I really need to switch it up a bit and I need to work on my miles...who knows I might get better in time. However, this morning I am going to Zumba, my love!!! :)

I should have learned...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday. We had a great time at my parents house but both Cory and I ate way to much. I know by now that when I eat to much I am in terrible pain...my stomach can not handle it! So after our huge feast of turkey, ham, salads, potatoes, dressing, cheesecake, pie, etc. we both ran home to be sick and miserable all night long....I am never doing that again! I don't care if the food is the best thing I have ever tasted :) It truly is all about moderation...

Apparently Kramer only knows 1 pose...the first one was on the bed this morning and the 2nd one was him sitting by me on the couch while I play on the computer :)

Happy Easter Egg!!

Can you believe Easter weekend is already here? I sure can't.....What is everyone going to be doing this year on Easter? Cory, Kramer and I will be joining my parents and some of their friends for a delicious deep fried turkey and ham dinner. I am super excited this year because I am bringing dessert! I am going to try to make my first cheesecake and it is going to be yummo!! I got the recipe from www.annieseats.com and it is a carmel apple cheesecake...now doesn't that sound divine?
