The RS Humane Society had a "Santa Paws" benefit~so we took Kramer to get his pic with Santa to help all the animals out at the Humane Society.

I was very excited this year to put up our xmas tree~In the past, our house was so small we hardly could have a tree and it was always tiny. Well now that we have moved this year we bought a 12ft tree! I had so much fun decorating it~

Australia Trip

Hello! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We have returned from Australia and it was a fabulous time! We were on the go the entire time traveling from Sydney, Brisbane and up to the Great Barrier Reef. Here are a few pics out of the 500 I came back with :) (I love to take pics, LOL)

My New Favorite Cookbook!

I bought this a few months ago and it is awesome! The manicotti is to die for, the curry chicken casserole is yummy, the pumpkin roll with nutmeg sauce was delicious (once I figured out how to roll it, LOL) and the cheese ball I brought to book club was a hit! I have recently bought a few of these for a few friends (who hopefully are not reading this blog, but I don't think they do) for Christmas. I also have hooked 2 co-workers on it who also have bought this book! Go check it out :)

Happy Early 50th Birthday!!!!

My aunt Tammy was in town this past weekend and we had a suprise early birthday party for her. It was alot of fun. We had those silly glasses for her and my aunt had the 2 cowboy hats for us to wear when we brought out the cake :) Here are some pics!

First Big Snow

Wow! It sure snowed last night. I decided I would go shovel the driveway since Cory was at work...umm I think I underestimated how much work that actually is. Anyways~of course I had my helper out there and here is a few pics of him....hey hey cut him some slack he couldn't help me to much he don't have hands :)

It's that time of the year again...Halloween! I love dressing up every year and a few friends are having a costume party....soooooooooo.... I need to figure out ideas for Cory and I. Have any ideas? For now I have found a cute Wilma & Fred costume but we'll see....

Our latest addiction

This is a great show! I'm so hooked! I think we are going to have watch season 5 on the internet so I can find out what happens! Have you ever watched weeds?

Not to into wildlife anymore...

A few reasons why I don't like living in a new housing development...all the critters that lived there that now have no where to go. It is sad I admit but I wish they would find a new home because frankly it scares me to death when I come across them.

Homemade Tomato Soup

I recently came across a recipe for homemade roasted tomato soup, it looked wonderful and sounded great! So I ventured yesterday on my first pot of tomato soup...not from the can :) Here is a pic of it in the process....I wish I could say it turned out great...but I think it was a bust....hopefully I will come across a better recipe soon. However, roasted tomatoes are pretty good try them sometime!

Fall

I love fall! I love the coziness of fall & winter. I have a dozen new soup recipes that I want to try and I have been waiting until we are sitting around the fireplace, watching movies and eating some soup :)

Fiesta Cookings...

I am pretty proud of my green chili...it took me several attempts at finding the perfect recipe and I found it. I made a huge bucket of it for my fiesta party I threw and I think it was a hit!!

Of course what's a fiesta party without tequila?
Thanks Steph for letting me use your Margarita machine...of course not everyone likes tequila so I had other options as well :)

Long time no bloggin....

It's been awhile since my last blog but I have been pretty busy. Cory and I actually just got back from Mexico last night so we are still recouping from that fun trip!! Of course the most important reason we were there, Kari & Mike's wedding, it is all said and done. Congrats!!! Kari was a beautiful bride and the wedding was gorgeous!! I don't think its fair I post any of her wedding pics before she even gets back but here are a few of all of us in Mexico!! More to come soon...

P.S. There was 16 of us in Mexico for the wedding and do you think I have on group pic? Oh well, I am sure Kari will have some ;)

Sorry these pics are out of order but my computer is being dumb and I am tired of fighting with it. Anyways~when we moved in our yard was a big dirt lot (the last pic in this blog) and now our yard is on its way to being done! Here is a preview of what we have going :) Yeah!! I even have a big flower box that I am going to grow tomatoes in next year, yipee!!!!

How I feel...

I know this is a bit of an exaggeration...but seriously I feel like this and feel like I look like this. I took a pic today of me and my favorite fur butt and when I looked at it I about fell over, alls I could think is when did I start looking old? oh well it happens to all of us and I guess I would rather grow old with my honey then the alternative route.

This weekend, Cory and I caught up on some movies. I was really suprised at Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I really didn't think I would like either of them and they both turned out to be pretty good! Check em out if you haven't already!!!
